Prevalence = # of all current (new and old) cases during a certain period of time / total population (excludes recovered and dead).

Case Fatality Rate = # of deaths caused by a specific disease / number of diagnosed cases of that disease

Mortality = deaths from a specific disease in a given year / total population

Natality = births in a given year  / total population
